Air Freshener
heat-proof jars
food coloring
Essential OIL (usually found in craft sore or the craft aisle)
4 envelopes of Unflavored Gelatin(1-box of Knoxx's contains 4)
1tb Salt or Vodka(keeps gel from molding)
2c Cold Water
Into each jar, drop a few drops of food coloring 2-3drops is plenty. Then, put in about 30 drops of essential oil, give or take. The more essential oil you put in, the stronger the smell. Get one cup of water boiling on the stove. When it begins to boil, whisk in the gelatin, stirring until it's all dissolved. Then, pour in the other cup of cold water and the salt, stirring until the salt is dissolved. Quickly pour about 4-5in of the hot gelatin mixture in each of your jars, and then use a disposable stick or spoon to stir it into the oil and food coloring. Let these gel set overnight.

Salt dough recipe
1c Salt
2c Flour
1c Warm Water
1tsp Oil
Combine the salt and flour in a mixing bowl. Gradually add the water and oil until the dough becomes elastic. If your dough is too sticky, add more flour....too crumbly....add more water.
*When not working with dough keep tightly covered.
*I also kept mine in the fridge.
*You can paint your creations after they dry (either air dry or bake at 200°f ). I used acrylic.
*Painted ornaments will need to be sealed with clear varnish.
When making something like a snowman I did in layers. I made the bottom first baked low for 30min. Removed, when cooled I added middle and placed a tooth pick through the middle going vertical, attached to bottom and made sure there was enough sticking up at the top to ensure the top layer. After baking the middle sec 30min I stuck pipe cleaner through the middle going horizontally. Then 3rd layer repeat 30min when cooled add carrot nose made from clay or eyes, feet or hats then bake final time. I waited 2days to decorate. I went to Dollar Store got the jiggle wiggle eyes, and Fluffy balls<that i cut in half to make the ear muffs. Also bought Popsicle sticks to make a sled and skies. have fun!
